Our demo is set for Wednesday 8th July. We want the event to include farmers and all people who are concerned about threat to our food standards. This is absurd & chilling. It’s not just about protecting farmers, their livelihoods & food security. It’s about *animal welfare* and British standards. It’s hardly a mark of sovereignty to abandon self-determination on basic standards.
Britain has some of the world’s best food safety regulations. It took an extraordinary national effort to reach the enviable position we now hold, with laws protecting the consumer, the farmer and our animals. We must not betray them now.
